The All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment (ALICE) is a load-bearing system adopted by the US Army in the 1970s. Over the years, the system and its pack frame have undergone slight modifications to make carrying a heavy pack more comfortable. This ALICE pack frame is compatible with any standard-issue ALICE rucksack.
The pack frame includes two padded shoulder straps. The right strap features a quick-release buckle, allowing a heavy pack to easily roll off the shoulder, which is particularly useful after a long trek. Additionally, there is a waist belt with a padded back and an easy-to-use clip. All components are adjustable to fit your body size and can be adjusted easily while on the move. The frame also includes the necessary steel slits to attach your ALICE rucksack.
The ALICE pack frame is an excellent piece of equipment for anyone venturing into the wild, whether for hunting or camping.
